Recent feedback:
“I can discuss matters that have been worrying me, get a clear view of how to take things forward at work. With safe guarding issues supervision helped me feel more confident. I am now able to discuss issues with managers. Equally it has been helpful to talk about small issues that have been niggling me. It is like holding things up to a mirror and getting a clear but different perspective which I really value. I have also been able to discuss some personal issues that have been causing issues.

Lo
As a manager of a young person's Mental Health and Wellbeing Community based drop in Charity my need for Supervision was fundamental. John's style of supervision has helped me grow as a practitioner, manager and person. The organisation has grown and thrived. The wellbeing of myself, staff and attenders has been enhanced by the supervision I have received. Staff have also had supervision training this has enhanced their practice.
“After many years of hearing voices and them being treated a symptom of an illness John helped me develop a relationship with my voices and an understanding that has enabled me to have a positive relationship with them”.

“For the first time I can be open and honest about my thoughts. John doesn’t judge and I realise now we discuss how I can cope with the things that are happening to me”.
Individual
"John helped me when I was having a very bad time. He listened to me and understood without judging me. I didn't think he'd be able to understand me but he did. I relied on his support and he was very kind and consistent. He helped me become less judgmental of my life and accept myself more. He encouraged me to re-engage with things bit by bit to build up my confidence and my mood, recovering through daily life by building up my day to day activities. John is a very positive person, and he really understands mental suffering and illness, and he doesn't judge it. He sees the good, the possibilities in people, whatever they are going through. I can't imagine a person in whom John would not see positive potential. I feel very lucky to have met him."
